“Together We Will Recover Our State”

PUBLIC + BUSINESS + COMMUNITY = SUCCESS.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caught everyone by surprise, especially local government offices that are not able to attend the immediate needs of our business community by themselves. Despite the efforts that our leaders are undertaking, which have been assertive and honorable, we can do much more if we form a stronger coalition between government, businesses and residents. The Americas Community Center has taken the leadership role on organizing the Florida Business Covid-19 Taskforce, comprised of Florida Chambers of Commerce, business organizations, non for profits and business owners with a genuine interest on joining forces to urgently assist in the prompt recovery of our state. Our government needs our support to fast track their initiatives and recovery programs.

We, as community leaders, must take immediate action and together make our recovery an expedited and successful one. The Task Force has enacted four (4) committees to provide direct and specialized support. Each committee will leverage from the personal and professional expertise of its members. As the Task Force grows further efforts will address specific needs of geographical areas (North, Central and South).

We are currently being confronted with a crisis, that has impacted both the healthcare and the economy. Due to the impact the state of Florida will endure, the FBTF has decided to bring us together again, as when hurricane Maria hit P.R., to ensure that we support and educate our communities. As well as, inform our elected officials to what difficulties are being identified that may need special attention, and if needed, modification.

Welcome to FBTF and we hope to assist our community.
